AI Literacy Summer Camp

What It Is

A 2-week, half-day AI literacy camp for students ages 10–14. Students learn to use AI as a thinking coach — for writing, problem-solving, and critical thinking. No coding required. Hands-on, project-based, and built by a PhD in Educational Psychology.

Schedule & Format

Days: Monday – Friday (10 sessions total)

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Duration: 2 weeks per session

Delivery: 

In-person at STEM Adventures, 16512 N Penn Avenue, Edmond, OK 73012

Devices: BYOD (iPad or laptop) — loaner Chromebooks available

What Students Learn

✓ How AI actually works (no black box — real understanding)

✓ Writing stronger arguments using AI as a thinking partner

✓ Asking better questions & evaluating AI responses critically

✓ When to use AI and when to think independently

✓ A final portfolio project they present to parents on the last day
