Fall Robotics Classes (Ages 8–15)
The Fall Robotics Program is the perfect starting point for students who want to explore engineering, coding, and problem-solving through hands-on learning.
Designed for beginner and intermediate learners, this program introduces students to the exciting world of robotics using the VEX IQ Robotics System. Through engaging projects and guided challenges, students gain valuable STEM skills while having fun building and programming robots.
Each session is packed with hands-on building, coding, and real-world engineering challenges. Students will:
- Build and modify robots using motors, sensors, gears, and structural components
- Learn foundational programming concepts through guided instruction
- Explore engineering principles such as gearing, torque, speed, stability, and mechanical design
- Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through challenge-based activities
- Work collaboratively with teammates to complete exciting robotics missions
- Gain confidence by testing, improving, and presenting their designs
Schedule: Once per week, 90-minute sessions for 10 weeks
Group Size: Small groups of 4–8 students for personalized instruction
Experience Level: No prior robotics or coding experience required
Students progress at their own pace while building technical skills, creativity, and confidence in a supportive learning environment.
